The Bills Welcome Kyle Williams Back

The Buffalo Bills announced that they are looking to beef up their defense and they have signed a five-year deal with free agent Star Lotulelei, and the legendary Kyle Williams is returning for his thirteenth season. The news that Kyle Williams has signed a one-year deal was met with growing optimism and much excitement. The news was taken with much enthusiasm by the fans, but the players were over the moon with the news. Various players from the defense and the offense side of the ball expressed their excitement on Twitter and other Social media networks.

Love for the Bills’ Longest Tenured Player

Jordan Poyer who played alongside Williams for the 2017 season quote tweeted the official Buffalo Bills account in his tweet saying how pumped up he was for Williams’ return. Lorenzo Alexander a fellow Bills captain who played alongside Williams, also said how stoked he was and could not wait to wreak havoc for another season with Williams. Williams and Alexander have 23.5 sacks between them. Jerry Hughes spent five seasons with Williams (2013-2017) where they racked up a 60 sacks against opposing quarterbacks in the years they played together.

Players on the offensive side of the ball also showed their excitement on Twitter when they heard that he would be returning for another season. Full back Patrick DiMarco and other players could not hide their excitement for the return of Kyle Williams for a thirteenth season.

Kyle Williams will be turning 35 in June and signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills worth $6 million. He signed with the Bills for the first time in 2006 and for the 2018 season, he will take up his former position as a defensive tackle. Before the 2018 season, he had played 575 games with only 3 fumbles, and served as captain.
