Oklahoma wins at NCAA gymnastic championship

The world of gymnastics is more exciting than ever before. You would agree if you had watched this year’s NCAA championship. Many talented college athletes competed in front of record crowds. Gymnastics is still one of the favorite sports of the world.

Oklahoma was one of the favorite teams and they had won their first victory in the NCAA championship in 2014. Since then, they have continued to add valuable gymnasts to their team and they managed to win several competitions. There’s no wonder that the other teams expected them to be the best. And they were! After incredibly difficult routines, a lot of tears and more emotions from competitors, trainers, and fans, Oklahoma did what everyone expected them to do: they won the NCAA gymnastic championship.

There were other amazing teams, such as the Alabama and Georgia teams. Their roster of competitors was very strong. However, the girls from Oklahoma wanted this more than anyone else, and they said that they had prepared for this moment over the last years. They did not only count on their veterans; many of the newcomers in the team managed to show their value as gymnasts.

If you are not sure what team to root for, add the girls from Oklahoma on the list. Now that they are champions, they have even more motivation to continue to improve their routines and individual skills. The season has just started and there are many other competitions yet to come.
