Mark Cuban Calls Lamar Odom Worst Move He’s Ever Made

Over the past couple of years Cuban has been known to be very vocal with his opinions some of which have ended up coming back to haunt him. For instance he was fined more than $2 million by the NBA following infractions which included a comment n how he will would never hire Ed Rush, an NBA referee, to be in charge of a Dairy Queen. That said his latest comments are without a doubt bound to pique the interest of the fans of Dallas Mavericks as well as fans of reality TV.

While speaking with the Dallas Morning News, Cuban stated that he also regrets letting Steve Nash go into free agency back in 2004, this reports come amid the decision by Steve Nash to retire from the NBA. That was not the only thing that he shared with the crew at Dallas Morning News, he went on to state that his worst decision was agreeing to bring Lamar Odom to Dallas.

Back in 2012, Cuban and his Dallas Mavericks agreed to a trade that will see the Los Angeles Lakers receiving the first round pick and Dallas receiving Odom.

It’s not only Cuban who believes that Odom was a bad move for the Dallas, Dan Feldman, a sports writer with NBC, called the time that Odom spent in Dallas as “disastrous.”
Odom was ousted from the team following a confrontation with Cuban. At that time, Cuban told ESPN that the recent confrontation between him and Odom was the last straw.

“We tried to put him in a position to succeed. You guys saw it, saw what we did. It didn’t work… I just didn’t get a commitment. And that was the end.”
