Andre Iguodala Was Warriors Secret Weapon During The NBA Finals

The 2015 NBA finals are finally over and we can now get to look back and see the defining moments of the finals and boy were they many. Most of the talk during the NBA final has been centered on two people and that is Lebron James, who had an impeccable game and Andre Iguodala who also had a very great game.

As for Lebron, many were wondering whether he will be able to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers past the Warriors teams that had the chef himself Stephen Curry as one of their players. Despite his heroics, Lebron fell short and as many had predicted he couldn’t be able to defeat the Warriors without his sidekicks and that is Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. Nonetheless, James gave out some brilliant performance and joined the NBA’s top players who scored more than 80 points their first two NBA championship games.

As for Iguodala, he was given the job of defending Lebron James and as much as James had is way most of the time Iguodala made him work for it hoping that will tire at some point, something that was evident in-game 4. In addition to guarding Lebron, Iguodala played an important role for the Warriors, be it coming from the bench or starting the game. He was consistent and gave the Warriors valuable points throughout the finals.

Stephen Curry, who is the team’s most valuable player, also agreed with that fact stating that Iggy, as they like to call him, plays an important role on their team and they are just happy to have him. In recognition of his greatness, Iggy was awarded the finals MVP trophy and I must say he truly deserved it.
